I love the fact that this site does not judge and truly speaks to those who may be looking at quitting fent, but not sure they want to.
Nothing is sugar coated, and nothing is pressuring. If you want to quit, we wanna help. That's the message I get.
I just read about some who choose the Kratom route to switch over to. This site didnt tell you NOT to. They didn't advise against it, or say that your not clean if you choose this route. They tell you how to go about it, safely.
I quit in September of 2021. 30 day rehab, suboxone taper. Was not easy but well worth the uncomfortable journey.
I've been in AA and God willing I will not have had a drink since 08/29/1992, if I lay my head down tonite without picking one up.
The best thing for an addict or a person physically dependent on a drug for me was DEFINITELY the support of others that were either getting clean, newly clean, clean, or coming back from a relapse. I learn from everyone. Because everyone has a message. And we are all just one hit away from our (next) overdose.
Thanks fentadope! Cool site! I plan on visiting often!!
Hey sheloveskoalas,
Welcome to the site and community!
Congratulations on your clean time, thats a big accomplishment!
I love how you mention that we are all in this together. Drug users, former drug users and people in recovery will always have a unique ability to help others like them, and thats one of the goals of this site, to be a non judgmental community where people like you can share your experience, advice and support with others.
Welcome again to the site, we are glad to have you!
